• It's usually the robins morning song that starts our day followed with the sweet song of the meadowlark.
  
  
• Off in the distance the tenor drumming of the flicker and sometimes the base drum of the pileated woodpecker adds to the every day symphony.
  
  
• These alone would seem enough until the song birds bless the morning with their beautiful melody.
  
  
• Many of the song birds are finches, gold finches, pine siskins, warblers, blackbirds, towhees, crossbills, grosbeaks, sparrows and believe it or not, the morning dove.

• When it's all combined, you'd think there was a conductor hidden in the trees, and it all sounds perfect, beautiful.
  
  
• Occasionally, we run out of seeds for a few days, and it's like half an orchestra is missing and occasionally, the complete silence is deafening.
