That's it! General InformationEach bird house or bird feeder is hand built after the order is received. This old retired business person, pilot and offshore sailor has shipped over 500 of these bird houses and feeders within the last 10+ years. About the Log Cabin BirdhouseThis old log cabin birdhouse is designed in a mountain log cabin style, including a front porch, handrail, wood for the fireplace, simulated logs, windows and door, a small birdhouse, cedar shake roofs and the chimney to attach the birdhouse to the side of a building or post. The log cabin birdhouse also comes plumbed with three drains and two natural air conditioners (vents), one directly across from the bird entrance hole and the second is under the front porch roof. It is insulated with 7/8" cedar. Like all our birdhouses it has a raised nesting floor to prevent the potential of water seeping in under the birdhouse into the nesting area. By removing three screws on the bottom of the log cabin birdhouse you can take the bottom off for a complete spring cleaning. The front porch of the log cabin seems to be the favorite spot for fatherbird when motherbird is on the nest during one of those rainy days.
