There are as many predator guards as the mind can imagine.

Mounting Predator Guards

Information on installing a basic predator guard for birdhouses and birds feeders mounted on posts or poles.

If possible place a predator guard below the birdhouse on the post or pole. An easy effective devise is a 18" to 24" wide sheet of thin tin wrapped around the post. Also, try not to place your bird house on a tree, either hanging or on the trunk, it is hard on the tree and very difficult to place effective predator guards to protect the birds.
