We are presently updating the family internet small business information part of our website, adding more information. We are finished with the Straight Talk Overview and are presently working on the detailed and print friendly area, it is presently an active website and the information there is good, we're just adding to it.

This part of our family internet small businesses website is dedicated to suppling information and ideas about starting a small business website. We have divided this information into two parts, a straight talk overview, which we recommend starting first if this is your first experience in starting an internet small business, and the second part is a detailed how to do it yourself, and has print friendly webpages, the link for these print friendly webpages are at the bottom of each webpage.

A little bit about myself, it has been over 51 years, 1958, since starting my first business. I have had my ups and downs over the last 51 years of starting, owning and operating small businesses in the Seattle area, not to mention my sons and daughters businesses.

This family internet small business website was started by myself and oldest daughter in 1997, a small business tax accountant, and was setup for our family, friends and some clients that have become friends.

I also have over 14 years, since 1995, of experience consulting small businesses on internet startups and developing or teaching search engine optimization. I am basically retired from consulting and/or developing client websites, however, there are exception to this retirement, I am enjoying just sharing what I've learned over the last half century about starting, organizing and running family small businesses including entering the internet.

One more comment, I've had my failures, and they have taught me more than my successes. Starting a small business is not for the light hearted, you'll need some inter-strengths.
