Google pay per click called Google Adwords

As you can see, I am a Google fan, most of the time. Google pay per click, which is called Google Adwords, is a simple way to buy, bid, your position on their search engine. You choose your keyphrase, bid your position, set your monthly budget, and make up a motivating description for your link. It's as simple as that, sort of.

There are others that have similar pay per click marketing programs, but Google has establish itself as the leader of innovative ways of helping big or small businesses get noticed, (found), on the internet.

Google advertising

Google advertising, along with many other search engines and directories, have every type of advertising you can imagine, just be prepared to pay the bill. Try to keep it local or extremely targeted to start if you have a limited internet marketing budget.

Pros and cons of a small business pay per click

What ever you do, make sure you can set a monthly budget, so they will remove your pay per click marketing for the remainder of the month once you reach your budget and start new the next month, very important. If pay per click starts to payoff with a reasonable net profit, increase your budget accordingly.

Also very important, market demand, market saturation, and product and/or service quality. If any of these are on tilt, you might want to rethink your overall plan.

I've had clients that have never broke even, some broke even, some did good, and a few did extremely well. However, I personally never worked in the pay per click area, my specialty was search engine and user friendly websites, humanistic motivational content, and search engine optimization.
