Search engine optimization tools.

When we talk about tools, we are not talking about shop tools. We are talking about search engine optimization tools, web design tools, tools to help find the right keyword phrases, and Google tools for starting small businesses from A to Z. Basically, software programs that analysis or search for curtain problems or issues that need to be corrected.

Search engine optimization tools usually relate to checking if you have used the best search engine optimization methods for the best results for search engine placement, such as titles, meta-tags, alt tags, directory names, filenames, and word count.

Website tools.

Website tools are usually related to finding incorrect html, javascripts, Java, and CSS coding, spelling, and links. There is also a tools to make sure that your website works on the various internet browsers. The one tools I have not found is one that would analysis your webpage for to much or useless coding, however, there are tools to check your loading time for different types of internet connections, but it's up to you to find what can be removed to speed up load times for the dialup folks, and that still is about 30% of your market and ignored by many web designers.

Keyword tools.

Ah, here is the mother of all seo web design tools, what are people really using to find your website, or more likely your web page that will solve their problem. Keyword phrases are the foundation for building your website, whether it's just a standard website or a seo website.

Over the years I have discovered what I thought to be an excellent keyphrase turn out not to be used by the internet crowd. In other words, what worked for me in marketing in the old media world just didn't measure up for the internet, surprise, surprise. I had to let go of the past intrenched marketing principles that served me so well in the past and trust the new methods. It's tough to break old habits, so you, lets see, how do I say this, mature and experienced business persons of the 60's to 90's ease up and discover the new cybernet marketing methods are, a little to big time, different.

Google tools.

I know, I sound like a Google groupie. Not by a long shot. They are good at what they do, but I don't always agree with what the do, period.

However, no one has even come close to their ability to see into the future and try new ideas with few failures. Yes, I do like Google as a business person, but still have the problem with letting someone else have to much access to my company information. This is about as close to the chicken and egg question as I've ever come to without the answer, I guess I'm just trusting them, which is difficult for an independent thinker.

Pros and Cons of all website tools.

All website tools can save you mistakes, time, and first impressions. However, I have found most of these tools are not infallible, so use them with care.
