There is a book I read years ago that helped me not only set my personal values, but to fortify me for either outcome without hesitation to keep trying no matter what. This book has nothing to do with business or religious principle, it just gave me a way that fix my ideals and personality to deal with most all of life's ups and downs. The book is: The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran. There are many others out there that may be helpful to you, however, this was the most succinct for me, even though it didn't cover anything related to business, just me.
